Businesses that have applied in one of the previous four rounds of City Emergency Business Grants and received funding are eligible to apply in this round. Priority will be given to eligible businesses and nonprofits — limited to 501(c)(3) corporations — impacted by the Governor’s recent Executive Order, followed by businesses and nonprofits that have been previously impacted by similar Executive Orders during this pandemic. Lodging facilities — such as hotels and motels — will also be prioritized with this round of funding.
The online applications will be available in English and Spanish, as they were during the first four rounds of applications.
Businesses must be located inside Hillsboro city limits and have an active business license from the City of Hillsboro prior to applying. Call 503-681-6408 for any questions regarding Hillsboro business licenses.
Business owners will also need to submit a W-9 and Employee Identification Number (EIN) when applying, if they have not received a previous award from the City.
The emergency support, made available through CARES Act funding from the State of Oregon through Washington County, will help offset some of the financial impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
