After a year unlike any seen before, Hillsboro’s 2021 State of the City will be unlike any shared before.

Since we cannot gather in person, our annual update delivered to the community will be presented as a series of videos hosted by Mayor Steve Callaway talking with City Councilors, community partners, and City staff.

Moving Forward Together is the theme for 2021, and the six videos will focus on:

  • Economic Development & Business Support
  • Essential Services, Infrastructure, & Sustainability
  • Housing & Homelessness
  • Listen & Leadership: Community Engagement & Involvement
  • Livability: Parks & Recreation and Libraries
  • Public Safety: First Responders

Each video will be shared with subscribers of the Happening in Hillsboro email newsletter on Monday, March 15. The videos will also be featured on the City’s social media channels and on the City of Hillsboro website.

As precious as your time is, we hope these brief videos will serve you as a resource to stay updated on important community issues, whenever it works for you.

They will serve not only as a recap of 2020, but also as a look ahead in 2021 and beyond. We look forward to having you join us, virtually.
