Hillsboro Fire, Hazmat, At Intel For Second Time In Four Days

For the second time in days, Hillsboro Fire and a hazmat unit responded to Intel's Ronler Acres campus because employees were getting sick.

HILLSBORO, OR – For the second time in four days, Hillsboro Fire and a hazmat team responded to Intel's Ronler Acres campus after reports of employees having trouble breathing. Several people were transported to the hospital.

The employees who were treated at the campus's Manufacturing Support Building. It's not known how many patients were treated on Monday.

On Friday, Hillsboro Fire and a hazmat team were at the same building and transported 15 patients to the hospital.

The employees had detected an odor and reported having trouble breathing.

Intel said that there had not been a release of hazardous material.
