Hillsboro Highway Crash Tuesday Morning Leaves Pasenger Dead

A 21-year-old man was killed when he was thrown from a car when it crashed into a tree early Tuesday morning.

HILLSBORO, OR – A man was killed early Tuesday morning when he was thrown from a car that had crashed into a tree. The Washington County Sheriff's Office says that speeding is thought to have been a factor in the crash.

Deputies responded around 12:30 on Tuesday morning to the 3500 block of Southwest Hillsboro Highway in an unincorporated part of Washington County.

A 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse had left the highway and hit a tree.

The driver and a second passenger were rushed to the hospital with what are described as injuries that are not life threatening.

The sheriff's office says that the multi-agency Washington County Crash Analyst Reconstruction Team is leading the investigation.
