Hillsboro Man Found Dead on Mount Washington

Brian Robak, a 28-year-old man from Hillsboro, was found dead Saturday on Mount Washington.

Robak, who worked at Big Lake Youth Camp, had gone hiking Thursday around Noon.

Around 4:30. he posted photos from the mountain's 8,000-foot high summit.

He had not been heard from since.

Camp staff started hiking to try to find him but were unsuccessful.

Around 3:30 Friday the next morning they reported him missing.

Search and rescue from Descutes County Sheriff's Office searched on Friday and resumed the hunt on Saturday.

His body was found Saturday afternoon by search and rescue squads using an Oregon Army National Guard helicopter.

He appeared to have fallen a significant distance.
