Hillsboro Man Sexually Assaulted Neighbor At Knifepoint, Cops Say
Hillsboro Police say that Gabriel Moscote-Saavedra broke into a neighbor's apartment and raped her at knifepoint.

HILLSBORO, OR – A man who police say broke into the apartment of a neighbor and proceeded to rape her has been indicted. Police say that the attack happened in December 2018 at the Sunset Gardens Apartments on Southeast 13th Avenue.
Around 2:30 on the morning of December 2, officers arrived at the apartment of a woman who told them someone had broken in to the apartment and raped her at knifepoint.
She told detectives that she didn't know who had attacked her.

They arrested 20-year-old Gabriel Moscote-Saavedra. Police say that he lives in the same complex as the woman he's charged with raping.
Moscote-Saavedra has been indicted on charges including first-degree sodomy, unlawful sexual penetration, sexual abuse, attempted rape, burglary; second-degree assault; and unlawful use of a weapon.
