Hillsboro Road Will Close For 2 Months For Construction Project
Work to prevent Glencoe Creek from overflowing during periods of heavy rain will force the closure of a neighborhood road in NE Hillsboro.

From The City of Hillsboro: In early July 2018, the City of Hillsboro will begin work with local contractor Pacific Excavation to replace an existing storm sewer culvert in Glencoe Creek with a new, 75 feet long, 20 feet wide, and seven feet deep concrete culvert under the intersection of NE Lenox Street and NE Lorie Drive.
In order to install the new culvert and then reconstruct the road, NE Lorie Drive from NE Lenox Street to NE Lindsey Drive will be temporarily closed to through traffic but open to local traffic during the months of July and August.
The completion of this project will prevent Glencoe Creek from flowing over the top of the roadway during large storm events.
