UPDATED: Hillsboro School Officials Say Freezing Rain Means No Classes on Tuesday, Jan. 17
District officials initially delayed the school day's start on Tuesday, but made the call this morning to cancel them, instead.
Hillsboro School District classes are canceled for Tuesday, Jan. 17, because of inclement weather that's been plaguing the area.
Hillsboro School District is closed due to forecasted freezing rain, as well as continued concern over the conditions on side streets and sidewalks," said an alert on the school district website. "All afternoon and evening activities and events are canceled."
