Whatever your level of appreciation fo dogs is, come on down to the annual Dogs on Parade event in Hillsboro on Tuesday.

The event, which raises money for the city's Bonnie Hays Animal Shelter, kicks off at 5:30 with a Mt. Wave K9 Search and Rescue demonstration.

There are booths and fun and a bunch of contests including dog-owner look alike, smallest dog more than one-year-old, largest dog, best trick, best costume and more.
The event takes place at the Hillsboro Marketplace.
It usually lasts from around 5:30 to 8:00.
