Raleigh Hills Bank Robber Strikes Again, Says Sheriff's Office

The Washington County Sheriff's Office says that a man who robbed Columbia Bank in Raleigh Hills appears to have struck again.

HILLSBORO, OR – Take a good look at the man in the picture. The Washington County Sheriff's Office says that he's between 50 and 60-years-old, about 5'8" with a medium build, gray hair, and wearing prescription glasses.

They also say that he robbed a bank on Wednesday and has robbed others as well.

Around 11:30 deputies responded to the Columbia Bank at 4805 Southwest 77th Avenue in Raleigh Hills.

Deputies say that the man in the picture walked up to a teller and passed a note demanding money.

Having money, the man fled and has not been found.

The sheriff's office says that it wasn't the man's first time there. They believe that he robbed the bank last Christmas Eve.

They also think that he's been behind "numerous" bank robberies in the metro area.

Officials say that the sheriff's office is working with the FBI, Portland Police, and Beaverton Police on the related cases.
