Sex Offender Admits To More Sex Crimes, Gets 75 Months In Prison
Court documents indicate Robert Stewart was 27-years-old when he gave alcohol and marijuana to a 13-year-old girl with whom he then had sex.
HILLSBORO, OR – Robert Alan Stewart will spend the next 75 months in prison. He pleaded guilty to rape. In 2013, he met a 13-year-old online. He claimed to have been 19-years-old when he was actually 27.
Stewart gave the girl alcohol and marijuana, and had intercourse with her several times.
The crime didn't come to light until this year when a Tigard Police school resource officer learned about possible abuse of the victim.

Detective John Shipley of the Washington County Sheriff's Office took over the case and was able to arrest Stewart a short time later.

Stewart had previously been convicted in 2014 in a different case that also involved a juvenile victim.
Based on this pattern of conduct, investigators fear there could be additional victims, according to officials.
The sheriff's office wants anyone with information about Stewart and these cases or other possible crimes to conduct the Child Abuse Reporting hotline at 503-731-3100.
