South Hillsboro Open House This Week
City officials and representatives from several partnered agencies will provide information and updates on the massive project's progress.

HILLSBORO, OR — Curious about the progress in South Hillsboro? City officials will host an open house next Thursday to provide all the latest updates on the massive undertaking.
From 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 15, city staff will setup at Rosedale Elementary School, 3901 S.E. 67th Ave., to answer questions about new roads and forthcoming road improvements, housing developments, parks and schools, and other new features coming to the 1,400-acre space between Southwest 229th and Southwest 209th avenues (from west to east), and the Tualatin Valley Highway and Southwest Rosedale Road (from north to south).
Representatives from several agencies working in partnership with the city will be on-hand to share information related to their specific projects as well, from the Hillsboro School District and Washington County to the Willamette Water Supply Program and private developers contracting with the city.

Many changes are coming to the area as Hillsboro makes way for roughly 8,000 new residences and 20,000-plus new residents.
