Washington County K9 Stark Helps With Three Arrests In One Night

HILLSBORO, OR – Meet Stark. He's a K9 deputy with the Washington County Sheriff's Office. He is a very good boy.
On Thursday night, he assisted in the arrests of three different people.
The culmination of his busy night started just before 10 p.m. when he and his partner, Corporal Micah Akin were called to the area of SW Hall Boulevard and Hemlock Street in the Metzger area. A woman reported that 25-yer-old Trevor Bates had smashed a window on her car and fled.

After two-hours and nearly four miles, Stark found Bates hiding in a car as well as articles of clothing that deputies say that Bates had discarded as he tried to evade capture.
Bates was arrested and charged with criminal mischief, trespass, and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Earlier in the evening, Stark found a wanted man hiding in a house and a woman with an outstanding warrant in Beaverton.
