The powerful storm caused historic flooding along the Schuylkill River in Montgomery County, inundating flood prone areas in Norristown, Lower Merion, Bridgeport, and Conshohocken, as well as into Manayunk and parts of Philadelphia.
High winds, including the touch down of two tornadoes in the Philadelphia area, contributed to the power outages, bringing down trees and power lines throughout the region.
