Abington Hospital Puts Out Call For Medical Supply Donations
Here's how you can help out healthcare workers at Abington-Jefferson Health.
ABINGTON, PA — As the coronavirus outbreak continues in southeastern, hospitals and healthcare facilities will be increasingly challenged to adequately supply workers on the front line.
Abington-Jefferson Health put out a call Friday for donations to help equip healthcare workers to fight back.

Donations of the following equipment will be accepted:
- N-95 respirator masks (medical grade preferred) or industrial, NIOSH and FDA approved
- Hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol
- Surgical grade ear loop facemasks (preferred) or tieback face masks
- Masks with face shields
- Goggles (no openings on sides)
"The outpouring of support by our community for our health care workers during the COVID-19 pandemic has been a source of strength for all of us," the hospital said in a statement.

Supplies can be dropped off at Levy Medical Plaza, across from Abington Hospital, on 1235 Old York Road.
The drop-off is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
