ABINGTON, PA — The nationally touring "Beatles vs. Stones" show, featuring a pair of tribute bands facing off with rock and roll's greatest hits, is coming to the Keswick Theatre. Four local musicians will have the unique opportunity join them on stage.

The Abington High School string quartet is made up of seniors Esther Kim, Henry Vradelis, and Nicholas Hilliard, along with junior Yuliana Fartachuk. Together, they'll join the bands on stage for several songs, including "Eleanor Rigby," "Yesterday," "A Day in the Life," "Hello Goodbye," "Hey Jude," "Gimme Shelter" and "Ruby Tuesday."

The event will take place on Friday, Dec. 6. It's sold out each of the past two years.

Organizers said that the touring show commonly hires a local quartet that can "hold their own" with a rock band in front of a large audience. They got in touch with Abington Senior High School Orchestra Director Nancy Voigt, and the rest is history.

Tickets start at $38.50. For details see here.
