Abington Parks Hosts Walk In Important Bird Area
Educators will lead an exploration of a park and the Bethayres Swamp and take a look at the wide cross section of bird life.

ABINGTON, PA - Explore Lorimer Park and the Bethayres Swamp on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 8:30am during an Audubon Bird Town Bird Walk at Lorimer Park.
All are welcome to explore these IBA’s (Important Bird Areas), including new birders and experienced birders alike. Walk leaders will be from the Wyncote Audubon Society.
Meet at the Welsh Road/Pennypack Trail parking area for this third Tuesday of the month morning bird walk.

This free program is suitable for adults and children 12 and older. Preregistration is required. Please call 215-947- 3477 or email smorgan@montcopa.org to preregister.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own binoculars.
