Abington's 4th Of July Fireworks: 2019 Guide, Scheduled Time

ABINGTON, PA — July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and findgoing on near you this Independence Day. We gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening around the area so you can start planning now.

Here's what's in store this year in the Abingtonarea, home to one of America's oldest 4th of July celebrations:

Things kick off with a Children's Morning Program at 10 a.m. at Renninger Memorial Park in Cheltenham.

The "The Grand, Glorious, Patriotic Parade," which is in its 125th year in 2019, will begin at 4 p.m. on 1.5 mile stretch through Glenside. The route is provided below, courtesy of organizers:

The Fireworks Spectacular will take place at dusk at Abington Senior High School.
