COVID-19 Vaccine In Abington: How To Get It, And When

The coronavirus vaccine rollout continues across Pennsylvania. Here is the latest on how and when you may get access in the Abington area.

ABINGTON, PA — Montgomery County officials are working hard to deliver vaccines to as many residents as possible, but supply remains extremely limited.

State officials dramatically increased the number of Pennsylvanians eligible for the vaccine during the initial phase. Everyone 65 and older, along with residents 16 or older who have health conditions that put them at high risk, immediately were made eligible, adding about 3.5 million Pennsylvania residents to the list of those eligible for the shots.

The county has administered 36,831 partial doses and 9,052 full doses of the vaccine as of Wednesday afternoon.
