Roads That Remain Shut Down In Abington
Heavy winds brought down power lines across the township, shutting down multiple roads. Here's an updated list.

ABINGTON, PA — Authorities are warning residents to avoid several roads in Abington Township after power lines were brought down by heavy winds Monday.
The following roads are closed Monday:
- Easton Road is shut down between Moreland Road and Old Welsh Road
- Highland Ave, between Mt. Carmel and Kenmore
- Edge Hill Road, between Bradfield Road and Custer Avenue
- Davisville Road, between Easton and Maplewood
- Madison Ave, between Susquehanna and Clemens

More than a hundred Abington residents were without power Monday morning, and more than 8,200 residents had reported outages across Montgomery County by around 10:30 a.m.
