Elkins Park's David Norton was honored at the Eagles game Sunday for his exceptional work to improve the local community.

ELKINS PARK, PA — An Elkins Park man was honored at the Eagles game Sunday for his exceptional work to improve the local community.
Local resident David Norton was named the Santander Community Quarterback honoree, conferred upon "exceptional individuals who exemplify leadership, dedication and commitment to improving the communities where they live." Norton was one of 10 locals honored throughout the season.
Norton's three nephews were orphaned in a tragic incident years ago, inspiring him to create the nonprofit "Tow 4 Tots."

As Norton was a tow truck operator, the charity works with hundreds of other tow truck drivers to deliver toys to nonprofits and to children in need throughout the region.
More than 10 years later, the drivers continue delivering gifts.
