Free Household Waste Event Coming Up In Montgomery County

Need to dispose of household cleaners, chemicals, and more? The next free event is this weekend.

ABINGTON, PA — The next in Montgomery County's series of free household waste disposal events is coming up this weekend.

The event will be held on Saturday, June 19 at Abington Junior High School, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A wide variety of household cleaners and other chemicals are accepted. For a full list of items that are accepted and not accepted, see here.

Future events will be held come the fall:

Saturday, September 25

Spring-Ford 9th Grade Center, 400 South Lewis Rd., Royersford

Sunday, October 24

Lower Merion Transfer Station, 1300 North Woodbine Ave., Penn Valley
