Glenside Makes Top 100 Places To Live In PA List

GLENSIDE, PA — A new list of the 100 best places to live in Pennsylvania includes Glenside, along with several other local Montgomery County communities.

The list was released by Niche, a website that analyzes neighborhoods, school districts and colleges. Sixty one Philadelphia-area communities cracked the top 100, including several in Montgomery County. In addition to Glenside, Blue Bell, Montgomeryville, King of Prussia, Collegeville, Audubon, Conshohocken, Lower Moreland, Fort Washington, West Conshohocken, Plymouth Meeting, Flourtown, Upper Gwynedd, Worcester, and others were included.

Glenside came in 38th overall on the list.

To calculate the rankings and assign grades to communities, Niche looks at factors like the quality of local schools, crime rates, housing trends, employment statistics and access to amenities. Niche gets its data from government sources like the Department of Education, the FBI and the U.S. Census.

10. Berwyn, Chester County
