Here's Where You're At In The Vaccine Line In Montgomery County
An updated look at where things stand in the county. Officials say they're currently scheduling appointments made on Jan. 31.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — The state announced on Thursday that all appointments for individuals in 1A must be scheduled by the end of March, which is now just a matter of days away.
While appointments might be able to be scheduled by then, the state will not complete vaccinating 1A by that point: hundreds of thousands statewide remain on the 1A list. In Montgomery County alone, there are 89,325 remaining on the 1A wait list.
The county is currently working through preregistrations made on Jan. 31.

This represents progress, as 134,484 appointment notifications have been sent out. But the county still needs more vaccine, and the state has announced plans to start vaccinating police officers and grocery store workers in 1B at the end of March, meaning that 1B will likely begin before 1A is completed in Montgomery County.
