Jackpot: $1.4 Million Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In Montco
A huge jackpot winner was sold at a small Pennsylvania Lottery terminal in Montgomery County Thursday. The winner found out instantly.
NORRISTOWN, PA — One local lottery player won a huge jackpot in Norristown this week, finding out instantly that they'd won a seven figure prize.
A winning ticket worth $1,457,770.50 was sold at the Family Financial Centers, located on 421 W. Marshall Street, on Thursday, Sept. 10.
The ticket won the Pennsylvania Lottery's Fast Cash Fever game, which starts with $20 tickets which offer prizes starting at $200,000 and up.

Fast Cash Fever games let the player know immediately if they won; there's no wait for a drawing or scratch-off. Tickets are usually sold at a self-service touch screen vending terminal or, in some cases, a lottery sales terminal.
The small bank will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Prizes must be claimed and tickets validated before winners can be identified by the Pennsylvania Lottery.
