Limekiln Pike Bridge To Shut Down In Abington
A major road will be shut down in both directions this weekend as bridge construction gets underway.
ABINGTON, PA — Limekiln Pike will be shut down in Abington Township this week as bridge construction continues.
The road will be shut down in both directions between Willow Grove Avenue and Mount Carmel Avenue from 7 p.m. on June 25 through 5 a.m. on June 28, officials said.
Crews will move on to the next stage of beam removal on Limekiln Pike Bridge, continuing work completed in the last stage of May 14.

Motorists will be detoured over Mount Carmel Avenue and Easton Road.
A fifth stage of bridge construction that will continue beam replacement will be held on the weekend of July 23.
