Local Abington Area Actor Stars in Disney's "Aladdin Jr."

Immanuel Rimmer performs as the titular character in "Aladdin Jr." at the Walnut Street Theatre.

Shining, shimmering, splendid! A young actor from the Abington area stars as the titular character in the Walnut Street Theatre’s production of Disney’s ALADDIN JR, beginning September 22nd through September 30th.


Based on the timeless animated film and hit Broadway show, Disney’s ALADDIN JR. is filled with magic and thrills the whole family will enjoy. When street urchin Aladdin falls for the strong-willed Princess Jasmine, he gets help from a fun-loving Genie to outsmart the wicked Jafar and win her hand. Get on your flying carpet and join us on a soaring musical adventure!

Immanuel Rimmer of Abington returns to the stage in his third Walnut Street Theatre production, ALADDIN JR. He was recently seen at the Walnut as Aegean in “The Comedy of Errors” and Walter Hobbs in “Elf Jr.!”

For seven years, Rimmer has attended the Walnut Theatre School alongside all his ALADDIN JR. cast members. In addition to his work with the Walnut, Rimmer has been learning to play the guitar, ukulele, and piano. Rimmer hopes to pursue a career as a professional actor or singer, eventually returning to perform again at the Walnut Street Theatre.
