The song capturing the anxieties of 2020 has been recognized by Ellen DeGeneres and received 400,000 Youtube hits.

MEADOWBROOK, PA — A Montgomery County teenager's debut single has turned into a national hit.
Wallis Schriver, a 15-year-old from Meadowbrook, released the song "Lonely Christmas" (watch below) on Dec. 3. The distinctive holiday tune, evocative of the isolation and anxiety of the past year, spread around the Internet like wildfire.
"Wow. What a week this has been," Wallis wrote on her Instagram page over the weekend. "... I heard my song on the radio this morning. A dream. I am beyond thankful. Thank you SO SO much to everyone who has listened to the song and been supportive."

Wallis, who has also performed as a child actress in shows like "Annie" at Philadelphia's Walnut Street Theatre, cowrote the song with her father, Gene Shriver. The elder Shriver filmed the video entirely on his iPhone.
Wallis' two sisters, 10-year-old Soleil and 13-year-old Maren, also perform on the song and appear in the music video.
Since the hit, Wallis and Maren also took to Instagram Monday to release a cover of a Sharon Von Halen song, "I Love You But I'm Lost."
