'MontcoStrong' Small Business Grants Aim To Help Local Economy
Montgomery County is providing $1 million in grants to boost small businesses impacted by the coronavirus crisis.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Montgomery County is providing $1 million in grants to boost small businesses impacted by the coronavirus crisis.
The program is accepting applications for all businesses with 50 employees or less. The application window opens on Wednesday, April 8 at 11 a.m.

Each individual business is eligible for up to $25,000 in awards. The money can be used for the following costs, for the period of March 23 through July 31:
- Rent or mortgage payments
- Payroll
- Utility costs
- Debts or loan paybacks
Priority consideration will be given to businesses that can prove they are continuing to pay employees even while closed or disrupted due to coronavirus.
