More Than 300 PECO Customers Without Power In Abington
Breaking: The snowstorm Thursday led to hundreds of power outages in Abington Township.

ABINGTON, PA — More than 300 PECO customers are without power in Abington, according to outage maps at 2 p.m. Thursday.
Heavy snow around the region caused heavy traffic, "hundreds" of accidents, and at least 1,200 outages across Montgomery County. A total of 380 of those are in Abington.
That amounts to about two percent of PECO's customers in the township.

Restoration times vary from 4:30 p.m. to 6:40 p.m. or much later. Some outages give a specific cause, which is usually downed trees or tree limbs.
