In-Person Dance Classes resume April 5 at Metropolitan Ballet.

Classes in Jenkintown studios (windows open) and outdoors!

Metropolitan Ballet Academy – named by Pointe magazine as one of seven local studios in America cultivating top talent – is open for in-person training, in its Jenkintown studios. Open windows and doors will keep the fresh air circulating and classes will also be offered in a beautiful outdoor setting around the corner. Metropolitan has a Covid-19 safety officer and follows strict CDC health guidelines. Class sizes will be smaller with social distancing. “We’ve been plugging away via Zoom, keeping our bodies and spirits strong, but being back in class is what dancers want and need. Spring is here and it’s time to get moving!” notes Lisa Collins Vidnovic, Founder and Director.

Classes for all levels start Monday April 5. Metropolitan offers classical training for boys and girls, starting with developmentally appropriate “Creative Movement” classes for 3- and 4-year-olds, on through beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes. Pre-professional ballet training and performance opportunities are by audition, with Metropolitan Ballet Company.

Met also offers all-male classes through its nationally recognized Boys’ Scholarship Program.
