A Roslyn native and Bishop McDevitt graduate who is a current student-athlete at Delaware Valley University has been named to an All-Conference field hockey team.
Cecelia Lounsberry, a senior and team captain, was named as one of the best players in the Middle Atlantic Conference, her school announced.

"Lounsberry racked up one goal and three assists (tied for team-high honors) for five points from her midfield position. The tally was at Arcadia University and it was the first collegiate goal for the team captain."
DelVal finished the 2016 season with a 6-12 overall record.
