Suspicious Dog Deaths Investigated In PA Town

A number of dogs have been found dead under mysterious circumstances in a Pennsylvania town. An active investigation is underway.

ALLENTOWN, PA — Authorities in a Pennsylvania town are investigating a sudden rash of dog deaths that they've described as "suspicious."

Police in Allentown said that a number of dead dogs were found in the area of the 2000 block of E. Cedar Street last week.

No cause or manner of death has yet been announced, and the circumstances surrounding the deaths remains unclear.

Police did not specify how many dogs were found, or if any arrests have been made. "There will be no further comment at this time regarding this investigation," Allentown Police Captain Michael Becker said in a news release.
