TONIGHT: Montco Man Competes For $10,000 Prize In Eagles Field Goal Challenge

If he wins, he would get an additional $10,000 to donate to his daughter's elementary school in Montgomery County.

HATBORO, PA -- Hatboro native Ryan Waller will compete to win $10,000 on Tuesday night as part of a Field Goal Challenge co-sponsored by the Eagles and Santander Bank.

If he wins, he would get an additional $10,000 to donate to his daughter's school, Crooked Billet Elementary in Hatboro.

Waller will join 40 other Eagles fans and Eagles kicker Caleb Sturgis in the challenge. Eagles cheerleaders will also be on hand.

Waller was selected as one of the contestants by organizers, and he will now get a chance to compete in the competition's tryouts and attempt a field goal during halftime of an upcoming Eagles game. The game in question is the matchup against the Washington Redskins on December 11.

Waller has been an Eagles fan his entire life. If he wins the prize, he said he would use it to take his family on vacation.

“As an Eagles fan, walking onto the field and converting a kick in front of 70,000 people was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and winning big for my school was amazing,” said last year’s winner, Thomas Voelker, who took his family to Disney World with his personal prize and used the $10,000 school donation to support STEM programming at Brandywine Heights Middle School. “As a school administrator, I know firsthand how significant a $10,000 donation can be for a school and I commend Santander for offering Eagles fans the chance to live out the ultimate fantasy and support a local school in the process.”

In the meantime, Waller will be training: kicking field goals at a local school's football field.
