Tyson Avenue Shut Down In Abington Through August

Additional traffic should be expected in the area.

ABINGTON, PA — Tyson Avenue will be shut down in Abington through the end of August as drainage work gets underway.

The closure, which began on July 15, will be in place between Ardsley Avenue and Bradfield Road.

The drainage project is aimed to improve safety and travel on Tyson Avenue and several other nearby roads, including Edge Hill Road, Jenkintown Road, and others.

Tyson Avenue will also be restricted to a single lane between Edge Hill Road and Ardsley Avenue.

Motorists should expect delays and backups in the area and plan accordingly.
