Here’s what’s open and what’s closed on Labor Day locally, and don’t forget - with the Monday holiday, trash and recycling is delayed a day.
Local municipal offices and all schools will be closed.

Here is some additional information on what is open and closed on Labor Day:
- Banks - All banks are closed on Labor Day.
- Bars, Restaurants - All are open regular hours at the owner’s discretion.
- Pennsylvania State Liquor Stores: Closed
- Montgomery County Court House: Closed
- Montgomery County Libraries: Closed
- SEPTA will be operating on an altered schedule throughout the weekend that is heavily impacted by the Made in America music festival in Philadelphia. On Labor Day, buses, trains, and trolleys will operate on a Sunday schedule. See the full schedule here.
