Where To Get Free Treats On The First Day Of Spring In PA

The first day of spring is right around the corner. That means free water ice and free ice cream from Rita's and Dairy Queen, which each have dozens of locations across Pennsylvania.

Weather on Wednesday, March 20 will soar into the mid-50s in the Philadelphia area, making for good conditions to wait out any possible lines.

Rita's will offer a free water ice on Wednesday from noon until 9 p.m. This is the 27th year that Rita's is offering their iconic giveaway to mark the change of seasons.

In addition, Dairy Queen is giving away a free vanilla cone to each visitor Wednesday. Mall locations are not participating in this giveaway.

The limit for each giveaway is one per visitor.
