Woman Killed In Hit And Run In Wyncote Sunday, Police Say

WYNCOTE, PA — One person is dead after a hit and run in Wyncote over the weekend, authorities said.

The incident occurred Sunday night on Cheltenham Avenue near the intersection with Ogontz Avenue.

The victim, identified only as a woman, was walking when she was struck by a suspect driving a 2019 or 2020 GMC Acadia, according to the Cheltenham Police Department.

Police are searching for the vehicle and suspect. The vehicle is believed to have noticeable damage to its front, police said.
