Young Elkins Park Actress Stars in "Matilda the Musical"

Jemma Bleu Greenbaum stars on the Walnut Mainstage as the little leading lady Matilda in Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical - playing now through January 6, 2019.

Based on the beloved Roald Dahl novel, Matilda is the story of the courageous little girl with an unbounded imagination who proves that despite the odds, you can do anything you put your mind to—and change your destiny. Children and adults alike will be thrilled and delighted by this Broadway hit and winner of 16 Best Musical awards!

Jemma Bleu Greenbaum is a 6th grader at the Elkins Park School. Jemma grew up loving the magical story of Matilda from reading the book, watching the movie, and eventually seeing the Broadway musical; inspiring her to audition for the Walnut's production. Aside from performing, Jemma and her family are active members of the Southampton Summer Day Camp and Congregation Adath Jeshurun.
