2 Killed During Storm In Lower Merion: Montgomery County

Three people in Montgomery County died in the damaging storm that hit the Philadelphia region Wednesday.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Two people in Lower Merion Township died Wednesday during the damaging storm that left hundreds of thousands without power in the Philadelphia region, Montgomery County officials said.

According to officials, three people died as a result the storm.

Two of those were in Lower Merion and one was in Lower Moreland, county officials aid.

No additional details were provided on the two Lower Merion Township deaths.

As of 6:10 p.m. Wednesday, 10,583 Lower Merion Township PECO customers are out of power stemming from 110 outages throughout the township.
