WATCH: Late Lower Merion Firefighter Sean DeMuynck's Procession

At just 35 years old, Penn Wynne/Overbrook Hills Fire Company volunteer firefighter Sean W. DeMuynck died while battling a fire this week.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Penn Wynne/Overbrook Hills Fire Company volunteer firefighter Sean W. DeMuynck lost his life at just 35 years old Monday after battling a house fire in Wynnewood.

Lower Merion first responders Wednesday held a processional for DeMuynck, who was planning to move back to Canada with his wife on Monday.

A GoFundMe for DeMuynck's family has raised nearly $38,000 in about a day's time.
