Ardmore Named #7 Local Suburb For Families

According to a new survey from real estate website Movoto.com, Ardmore is the 7th-best suburb in the Philadelphia area for families.

Data cited included unemployment and crime statistics, commenting distance and schools rankings, as well as input from local real estate agent Karen Horn.

The sizeable suburb of Ardmore earns the seventh spot on our list with top marks from GreatSchools.org. Charming Tudor, craftsman, and Colonial style homes with large yards are common. Active families will love the recreation fields at Ardmore Avenue Vernon Young Park, while young readers can attend an event or check out a new book at the Bala Cynwyd Library. Enjoy convenient shopping and casual dining, or pick up fresh produce from the farmers market at Suburban Square mall.

The survey ranked Devon the best suburb for families in the area, followed by Berwyn, Bryn Mawr, Fort Washington, and Blue Bell.
