Cell Phone Store Robbed At Gunpoint: Lower Merion Police

Lower Merion Police said two men robbed the Boost Mobile Store in Overbrook Hills Tuesday at gunpoint, taking several iPhones.

OVERBROOK HILLS, PA — A cell phone store in the Overbrook Hills section of Lower Merion Township was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday, according to Lower Merion Police.

Police said the robbery occurred at about 4:56 p.m. Tuesday at the Boost Mobile Store located at 1415 W. City Ave. in Overbrook Hills.

Two men came into the store and then held an employee gunpoint, forcing them to show the men where the iPhones were located.

Police said the men stole about seven iPhones.

They then left out the back of the store and were seen going north on Edgevale Road then east on Haverford Road.

Both men were described as black. One was wearing a blue and white striped jacket, dark sweatpants and dark sneakers while the other was wearing a black jacket with fur around the hood, sweatpants, and dark sneakers.
