Christmas, New Year's Day Affecting Lower Merion Trash, Recycling
This week and next week, Lower Merion will have holiday refuse and recycling collection schedules in place due to the holidays.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Due to the upcoming Christmas and New Year's Day holidays, Lower Merion Township is shifting to a holiday trash and recycling collection schedule.
With Christmas falling on Friday, collections will be suspended on Friday.
This week, Zone 1 materials will be collected Monday, Zone 2 Tuesday, Zone 3 Wednesday, and Zone 4 Thursday.

Township Administration Building, Township Treasurer's Office and all Township Libraries will be closed in observance of the holiday.
Then the next week, Dec. 28 through Jan. 1, collections will be impacted by the New Year's Day holiday.

There will be no Refuse or Recycling Collections on Friday, Jan. 1.
Similarly with this week, Zone 1 materials will be collected Monday, Dec. 28; Zone 2 Tuesday, Dec. 29; Zone 3 Wednesday, Dec. 30; and Zone 4 Thursday, Dec. 31.
