People have been putting blue ribbons on mailboxes and trees to honor the memory of the Main Line teen, whose body was found Sunday.
The community is celebrating the life of 13-year-old Cayman Naib, whose body was found Sunday following a multi-day search.
Cayman’s body was found Sunday, March 8, in Darby Creek, only a few hundred yards from his family’s Newtown Square home.
A Facebook page dedicated to the search for Cayman was renamed Celebrating Cayman on Sunday, and had gathered thousands more likes since the news of his death.

Cayman left his Newtown Square home around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, Newtown Township Police said March 5, and was last seen walking on Church Road.
Cayman had received an e-mail that upset him from The Shipley School, where he was an eighth-grader. His family believes that prompted his leaving home, though they wrote on Facebook that they do not blame the school.
A vigil celebrating Cayman was held at Shipley Sunday night, with about 300 people showing up to honor his memory, 6ABC said.
“We are devastated by the loss of Cayman Naib,” Shipley Head of School Steve Piltch said in a message to the Shipley community. “He was a terrific kid, who was always willing to help and brought a smile to our faces. Our thoughts, love, and prayers are with the Naib family today and always.”
Grief counselors will be on hand this week, Piltch told The Philadelphia Inquirer.
It was unclear how Cayman had died; an autopsy was scheduled to be completed Monday, Delaware County District Attorney Jack Whelan told the Inquirer.
