Driver In Lower Merion Crash Dies: Report

Police have stated that the driver in a single-vehicle crash earlier this week in Lower Merion has died, according to Main Line Media News.

The crash reportedly occurred near the intersection of Montgomery Avenue and Cynwyd Road, at about 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday. The man, driving his 2001 Toyota Corolla eastbound on Montgomery Avenue, lost control of the vehicle on the wet surface and collided with a utility pole, the report said.

The sole occupant of the car, the man was taken to Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia.

Police are withholding the identity of the man until his family and can notified.
