All school board primary election candidates will continue to campaign in the general election thanks to the practice of cross-filing, when candidates file for both parties.

The Democratic ballot will feature four incumbents, including Virginia Pollard, Diane DiBonaventuro, Subha Robinson and school board President Robin Vann Lynch, joined by newcomer David Federman. DiBonaventuro also earned the Republican nomination, joining the ticket with challengers Gary Friedlander, Christina Fink, Mike Adler and Perry Hamilton.
