Lankenau Medical Center Ranked No. 6 Hospital In Pennsylvania

Wynnewood's Lankenau Medical Center has been ranked as one of the best hospitals in Pennsylvania.

Wynnewood’s Lankenau Medical Center has been ranked as one of the best hospitals in Pennsylvania, and, in one category, among the best in the nation.

According to U.S. News & World Report’s annual rankings, released Tuesday, the Main Line teaching hospital and research institute ranks No. 6 in Pennsylvania, and No. 4 in the Philadelphia metro area.

In addition, Lankenau Medical Center was ranked No. 45 in the nation in diabetes and endocrinology.

“This hospital was among 137 facilities – roughly 3 percent of the 4,716 analyzed for the latest Best Hospitals rankings – to be ranked in even one of the 16 specialties,” read the report.
