"We are sorry to inform you that we made the difficult decision to close The Living Room immediately through April 30, 2020," said Laura Mann of The Living Room at 35 East. "We made this decision due to the unprecedented outbreak of COVID-19. We want to make sure that our staff, performers and customers are all safe. We do not know of anyone who has been at the venue who tested positive for COVID-19 and none of our customers should be at risk. This is a temporary precaution."

Mann said the venue will ideally reopen May 1, with the Philly Legends of Jazz Festival on May 1 and May 2 and to continue with our regular schedule.
