Lower Merion Fields Remaining Closed Due To Freezing, Thawing
The fields are saturated due to freezing and thawing cycles. Parks and Recreation officials will monitor the fields' conditions.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA – Lower Merion Township's playing fields are staying closed for now, officials said Tuesday afternoon.
Parks and Recreation Director Donna Heller said the fields are staying closed "due to saturated conditions and the freeze-thaw cycles."
"Precipitation and overnight freezing temps have kept us in a holding pattern," Heller said. "We continue to monitor the fields – your patience is very much appreciated."
